The Lakeside Home sleeps up to 10 across five bedrooms - two of which are king bedrooms with lake and mountain views. Step outside to a spacious patio with spa pool, BBQ, and an outlook straight across to the lake.
Upper Terrace 4-Bedroom House
The Upper Terrace Home has four spacious bedrooms sleeping up to 10 - set just behind the Lakeside Home with elevated lake views, a private spa pool courtyard, and outdoor dining with BBQ.

The Upper Terrace Home has 4 bedrooms and 8 beds - two king bedrooms plus two rooms with three singles each. Both homes have 2 bathrooms. If you need both homes, Gather Taupo can accommodate up to 20 guests across the property.

How far is Gather Taupo from Huka Falls?
Huka Falls - one of New Zealand's most visited natural attractions - is about a 10-minute drive from Gather Taupo at 3 Pataka Road. The falls are where the Waikato River narrows dramatically, forcing an enormous volume of water through a tight gorge into a turquoise pool below. Well worth a visit, and easily combined with a drive to Craters of the Moon geothermal park which is just a few minutes further along the same road.
What is the best time of year to visit Taupo?
Taupo is a great destination year-round. Summer (December to February) is peak season for lake swimming, kayaking and outdoor activities — perfect for large family groups. Winter (June to August) brings fewer crowds, snow-capped mountain views, and cosy evenings in the spa pool.
